Learn how to embed the first question of your survey into a MailChimp email
After you have defined the settings for your email embed and grabbed the code from Segmanta, you can follow the steps below to embed it into your MailChimp campaign.
Embedding a Code Snippet
1. Visit your MailChimp dashboard, create an email campaign and select one of the available campaign types.
2. Once you've chosen a campaign type, click Design Email.
3. Select to use a template or create your own and customize the Layout, Theme, Campaign etc. that you would like to use.
4. Create the content of your email that you would like to include in addition to your survey question.
5. Drag the Code container and place it where you would like the survey question to appear.
6. Visit the Email Embed tab of your Segmanta survey Distribute tab and determine the settings that you would like your survey question to have. Make sure that you have selected Code Snippet as the Embed Mode.
7. Click on the Get Code button to copy the code to your clipboard.
8. Return to MailChimp and paste the code inside of the code block. You will now see the survey question display inside of your email campaign preview.
Embedding a Full Email Code
1. Visit your MailChimp dashboard and create an email campaign.
2. Click Design Email.
3. Select Code your own.
4. Visit the Email Embed tab of your Segmanta survey Distribute tab and determine the settings that you would like your survey question to have. Make sure that you have selected Full Email as the Embed Mode.
5. Click on the Get Code button.
6. Paste this code on your MailChimp campaign builder. You will now see the survey question display inside of your email campaign preview.
