Now, let’s break down what each setting means.
Type of integration
Segmanta Integrations fall into four categories:
- Pure Analytics integrations, which track performance from a web point of view
- Marketing integrations
- CDP (Customer Data Platforms) integrations, which serve as traditional BI solutions for dealing with customer data
- SCRM integrations
Modes
There are two modes of communication in the Integration Manager, that depend on what kind of information you are looking to gather and the technical requirements of the platform:
- Real time: Integrations send data to the third party as it is answered
- Once the survey is completed
Welcome page
Most integrations work and look the same way, as they are centered around two types of events: questions and the ending page. However, some integrations also have a welcome page section.
Unique
When adding an integration from the list of associated tools, you may notice that some are tagged with “Unique”. This signifies that it can only have one integration per survey (i.e. Google Tag Manager can only be added once to a page).
Viewed or Answered
- Viewed: When a toggle is set to on, this event will send each time a respondent views the associated item. In some cases, events will be sent including associated loyalty point values and transaction types.
- Answered: When a toggle is set to on, this event will send each time a respondent answers the associated item (or clicks on the relevant button).
Only events that are toggled on will be sent to the integration. You will not be able to retroactively send previously collected data using the integration.
