      How to Redirect on Ending?

      Add the Redirect on Ending feature to seamlessly guide users to a specified webpage after they complete your survey.

       

      The Redirect on Ending feature lets you guide users to a specified page once they finish a survey. You have the flexibility to determine the destination page through your configured settings. This feature significantly improves the user experience by directing respondents to pertinent content or subsequent actions tailored to their survey inputs.

      To access the Redirect on Ending feature, follow these steps:

      1. Open the Survey Editor.
      2. Navigate to the Outline section.
      3. Select and open an Ending page.
      4. In the upper right corner, click on Settings.
      5. In the settings, you’ll find the Redirect on Ending feature.  

      Redirect on Ending Functions:

      Once you've located the feature and toggled it on, various functions and customization options will appear, including:

      • URL: Enter the redirect destination.
      • Delay (seconds): Set a delay before the redirection occurs.
      • Pass URL Parameters: Choose whether to pass URL parameters.
      • Pass Identifier Parameter: Option to pass an identifier parameter. This is the respondent session ID of the respondent.

      Upon completing the survey, your users will seamlessly be taken to the designated page you specified in the settings.

       

      Self-hosted video redirect 

      In addition to the Redirect on Ending feature, you can also guide users to a different page after they finish watching a self-hosted video. A self-hosted video is one that you have uploaded and stored on your website or server, instead of relying on third-party services like YouTube. To set this up, follow the steps outlined below:

      1. Open the Survey Editor.
      2. Go to Outline and open an Ending page.
      3. Click the Camera or Video Recorder icons.
      4. In the upper left corner, click the Video Recorder icon.
      5. Hover over the Source and change it to Self-Hosted.
      6. Enter the self-hosted video URL in the provided field.

       

      After entering the self-hosted URL of your choice, additional customization options will appear below.

      To configure redirects, follow these steps:

      1. Hover over Post-Play Settings and toggle it on.
      2. Enter the destination URL for the redirect.
      3. Decide whether to pass URL parameters.
      4. Optionally, pass an identifier parameter.

      Once users complete the survey and finish the video on the ending page, they will be seamlessly redirected to the designated page you specified in the post-play settings.
