What is the More Info Widget and how to add it?

The More Info Widget enhances your survey questions by adding extra context or explanations, helping participants better understand your questions and provide more accurate responses.

To add the More Info Widget, follow these steps:

  1. In the survey editor, go to the Outline tab and open one of your questions.
  2. At the upper-right corner, click the Display button.
  3. After clicking, you'll see the More Info Widget option. Toggle it on to use.

A widget will be displayed at the bottom of the question. Click on the widget to modify its content according to your needs.

The widget offers customizable options to suit your preferences. You can easily modify the text within the widget to include specific examples, clarifications, or any additional information that is pertinent to your question. 

Functions

Override Global Title: This feature enables you to define a unique title for the widget, improving its relevance and enriching the overall experience for users.

Content: In this section, you can share important details that clarify the survey question or outline the purpose behind its inclusion.

Global Settings

Widget Title: You have the option to personalize the title of the widget in this section.

Background Color: You can customize the widget's background color by entering a specific hex code or using the color wheel to select your preferred shade.

Text Color: You can adjust the text color of the widget by inputting a specific hex code or selecting your desired shade using the color wheel.

Bar Animation: In this section, you can select whether to enable an animation for your widget or to keep it static without any movement.

This customization enhances the overall user experience by making your survey more informative and tailored to the needs of your audience. 


Note: Please be aware that the More Info Widget is not applicable on the Welcome and Ending pages of your survey.
